Resources for New Neighbors

Included on this page:

Also see the Contacts page for county, state, and federal contact information.

Introduction

It is our pleasure to welcome all new neighbors to the community. We look forward to getting to know you! All new neighbors are strongly encouraged to join the Sleepy Hollow Citizens' Association, to support our neighborhood watch, and to participate in community activities in order to experience everything our community has to offer. The Association's annual calendar of events includes our Spring Wine and Cheese Social, Easter Egg Hunt, Spring and Fall Picnics, and Halloween Parade. You may also choose to join our Yahoo! Group to keep in touch with neighbors and to stay informed about issues and opportunities in the neighborhood.

To join the Sleepy Hollow Citizens' Association, send an e-mail to sleepyhollowneighborhood-owner@yahoogroups.com and include your name, address, and phone number. We will follow up with a phone call as well as an invitation to join the Yahoo! Group we use to communicate about association events.

Topics include voter registration, car registration (you will need a state registration, inspection, and emmissions test…in addition, an annual personal property tax is charged on vehicles), public school registration, and county government and services.
