Route 50 at Seven Corners to be closed overnight on Saturday, April 18 for construction

The construction of the pedestrian bridge will reach a new milestone on the night of April 18, as VDOT will close Route 50 to set the main beams of the bridge. Route 50 will be closed in both directions starting at 8 p.m. on Saturday, April 18 and remain closed until 5 a.m. on Sunday, April 19. Fairfax County Police will redirect traffic via Route 7 and Patrick Henry Drive during the closure. You may wish to avoid the area during those times.
