Electric Sundays Continue in 2011: - The widely successful e-waste recycling program Electric Sunday carries on in the New Year! Electric Sundays provide county residents with an opportunity to recycle televisions, computers, monitors and peripheral electronic devices such as printers, scanners, speakers,keyboards, mice and external drives. Residents also may recycle their unbroken fluorescent tubes and light bulbs at these events.

Electric Sunday events are a free service for Fairfax County residents! In 2011 events will be held at the county's Recycling and Disposal Centers as listed below:

I-66 Transfer Station (4618 West Ox Road, Fairfax): Feb 27, Apr 10, May 22, July 24, Aug 28, October 23, Nov 20.

I-95 Landfill Complex (9850 Furnace Road, Lorton): Mar 27, June 26, Sept 25.
